About ImageMagicTool
ImageMagicTool provides free, browser-based image utilities to resize images by centimeters, pixels, or percentage, crop official ID and passport photos at 300 DPI, compress files toward strict KB targets, and convert between JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and static GIF formats.
Why We Built ImageMagicTool
Preparing an image for a government form, exam portal, printing shop, or website often requires exact physical dimensions (such as 3.5 × 4.5 cm or 8.56 × 5.4 cm at 300 DPI) alongside strict file-size limits (such as 20 KB, 50 KB, or 100 KB). Many online tools upload sensitive personal photos to remote servers, add watermarks, or require paid accounts. ImageMagicTool was built to solve those tasks directly in your browser—fast, free, and private.
How Browser-Local Processing Works
- Zero File Uploads: Every resize, crop, format conversion, and target-KB compression operation runs locally on your device using HTML5 Canvas and client-side JavaScript encoders. Your images are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Exact Print & Portal Presets: Dedicated tools for ID cards, passports, visas, A4 print layouts, 4×6 photos, and social media dimensions calculate pixel dimensions using standard 300 DPI print density and embed DPI metadata into downloaded JPG and PNG files.
- Honest Format & Size Controls: PNG and WebP outputs preserve alpha transparency, JPG/JPEG outputs apply a clean white background fill, static GIF outputs encode genuine single-frame GIF89a files, and target-KB compression reports exact output sizes and whether your target was met.
- No Registration or Watermarks: All tools are free to use immediately without creating an account.
Technology & Privacy
ImageMagicTool is built as a static Next.js application using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. With your consent, we use privacy-scoped analytics that record coarse tool outcomes without ever collecting filenames, file sizes, image dimensions, or image content. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
